Caramel Sauce for Sundae’s
Serves 4
Preparation time 2 minutes
Cooking time 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp butter
Directions:
In a thick bottomed saucepan heat sugar until melted. Make sure it doesn’t burn. Once the sugar has melted, add butter and cream. Be careful while doing this as it might be really hot. Some solid sugar pieces might get formed when you add butter and cream, don’t worry about it, keep boiling the mixture until all the sugar pieces have melted. Serve hot or cold!
