Lemongrass and Ginger Tea

Serves 2

Preparation time 2 minutes

Cooking time 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup milk
  2. 1 cup water
  3. 2 tsp tea or 2 tea bags
  4. 1 cardamom
  5. 1 tbsp chopped lemongrass
  6. 1 tsp minced ginger
  7. 2 tsp sugar

Directions:

In a saucepan heat water and add tea, sugar, lemongrass, ginger and cardamom. Let boil for a minute or two. Next add milk and boil again for two to three minutes.  Once boiled strain and serve hot with biscuits or a warm appetizer of your choice.
