Rosemary

Rosemary is another fine Italian herb used in a lot of dishes. Rosemary is a long woody twig with thin greenish sliver leaves on it. To use Rosemary you need to remove the leave and chop them finely. You can also the entire twig to flavor your dish and remove it later or use it for garnish. Rosemary has a strong pungent flavor and hence is used sparingly. When you are grilling vegetables on a grill you can add Rosemary twigs on the grill to flavor the vegetables with a smokey rosemary flavor. Its very interesting to use Rosemary twigs as skewers for grilling.

Like other herbs Rosemary is also avaialble in fresh and dried form in all grocery stores. Dried Rosemary can be esily substituted for fresh one.
